People who are right-brained have a creative flair, are strongly visual, and take a holistic approach to putting their office space together.  They use a lot of color and need to keep things in front of them in order to avoid the "out of sight, out of mind" syndrome which causes them to create piles instead of files. 

 

People who are left-brained dominant work better in a well-organized work space where everything has a designated "home" out of sight, and everything is in its home unless it is the task at hand.  They use a lot of numbered or lettered index systems for easy retrieval.
